I don’t know if this is supposed to be about me or about my blog. But my blog is about me? So I guess this is about both of us? I’m really awkward at things, particularly this, so here you go…
I’m a 22 year old college grad, not utilizing my degree
I cannot whistle
I don’t like bare feet
and also I’m pretty cool, you should get to know me.
oh and I suck at blogging.

I can’t whistle either!! I knew I liked your blog from the few posts I read but this about page pushed me over the edge so I started following! I like your blogging style and I apologize… I am so guilty of taking oodles of pictures of my bare feet… and ones with shoes on, too… I’m sorry! lol…

About the feet thing, it’s ok…I guess. Shoe photos are ok it’s the skin that gets me.
I am all of those things also. I really wish I could whistle.

Amanda, I can’t whistle either. The only time I could was when I wore a retainer my senior year in high school, which was a very long time ago (’78-’79). Anyhoo, I love your blog post and you are absolutely right. Names are extremely important. In my family, there were six people with only four names among us. I was named for my mom. My first brother was named for my dad. The third and fourth children ended up with their own names. SUPER confusing when the phone rang. My mom didn’t like being Big Denise or Old Denise. Too bad. She should have thought about that before she named me Denise, too! I named my child something completely different, Aedan. She’s not happy with her name either, because she thinks it’s a boy name. I beg to differ. It’s a gender-neutral name, and that’s why her dad and I chose it. Maybe she’ll appreciate it later? Keep writing! Cheers, Denise
